LA PANADERIA - DOWNTOWN SAN ANTONIO

This was the second location for the brother owned restaurant. Originating from Mexico, they decided San Antonio was the place to build their brand. This space has had many lives. Originally a department store in the 1890s, it has had several facades and first floor tenants. This 5,600sf location occupies the entire first floor with dining, kitchen, and 1,000sf dough prep facility acting as a commissary to help grow and support the next 2-3 locations. The clients wanted to have a “old world” aesthetic as though it had been there for years. The casework and furniture were fabricated and installed by Costa Group. This project was completed while Derek was the Project Manager at Clayton & Little.
